The Leadership Training and Development Committee (LTD.com) of Nurture Division is tasked with helping churches to develop their leadership. They do this primarily by offering training and development workshops for clergy and lay members at an annual leadership training event - The Main Event - with North Alabama Presbytery. The Main Event is held the second weekend in August at South Highland Presbyterian Church and Independent Presbyterian Church, alternately. More than 60 workshops are offered each year in the categories of Christian Education, Mission/Evangelism, Officer Training and Administration, and Worship and Spirituality.
