Coming into Panama City Beach on FL State Road 79, go straight through the intersection of SR 79 & US Hwy 98. Turn left on Hernando Avenue, the fourth street on the left. You will see the Activities Building and the Cabins on your right. Parking is behind the cabins.

If you have come from US Hwy 231, you will follow Hwy 98 across the bridge and to the "West End of Beaches" and then turn left onto SR 79.

Gulftreat is located in Panama City Beach, Florida. This retreat location is less than three hundred miles from Atlanta, Birmingham, Orlando and New Orleans. This four acre camp is located two blocks from the beach. It has accommodations to house up to 118 campers in air-conditioned cabins with bathroom and shower facilities. Also located on the property are two spacious guest suites with kitchenettes.

There is a building with recreation facilities including a gym, ping pong tables, conference rooms and vending machines. This facility also has a dining hall connected with a fully equipped commercial kitchen. Meals are provided by our catered service if your group chooses, or you have the option of doing your own cooking.

The camp also has a chapel for worship or other meeting activities.

Not only is the camp located two blocks from the beach for swimming and enjoying the beautiful Gulf, but the camp has a large pool where guests are able to swim. Other outdoor recreation facilities are volleyball and shuffleboard. This area also has picnic table and gazebos to enjoy.

Gulftreat is a Conference Center and Camp owned by the Presbytery of Sheppards & Lapsley and available to all denominations of the Christian faith. We are dedicated to enhancing the ministry of the church by providing opportunity for relaxation, renewal, and revitalization. We believe the unique experience of Christian camping promotes individual growth and strengthens the body of Christ.

The beautiful white sand beaches and sparkling waters of the Gulf of Mexico are an easy 2 block walk from the campus. Even with the beach, shopping, tourist attractions, great restaurants, and other numerous activities so near, our 4+ acres are in a quiet, secure area with plenty of parking space and an inner campus which provides an atmosphere of privacy for sharing and growing in His love.

Outside recreational activities located on the grounds include a swimming pool, volleyball court, and shuffle board. The heart of the camp is Douglas Chapel where worship and many large-group activities take place.
